The Paisley Pink Tip (a member of the Delectibilus Exquisitis family) stands approx 18 cm high (foot to top of tail feather) & 18 cm ( from beak to curls). This bird loves to eat and has perfected the dainty bob and peck maneuver. Eyes firmly focused on the next meal the PP Tip most often can be found waddling around in cottage gardens rather than in the air. Adorned in pink with lots of patterning it feels comfortably at home surrounded by abundant blooms.  

Okay, imagination aside:  lovingly created with great attention to detail  by a very talented local artist under the Karrot Juice label. This gorgeous little bird is a one of a kind edition.

 

Construction: Papier mache ( body), hand cut & curled archival quality double sided decorative papers (wings and tail), glass beads (eyes), hand wrapped wire (legs) and painted with artist quality water-based paints. Stands alone.
