Gathering Memories is a ' One of a Kind ' collectable art doll. She stands approx 42 cm. She has a complete cloth body, shaped at the bottom and weighted to stand alone. Her bodice is painted and embellished with lace & braid. Her skirt is made from panels of cotton fabric with inserts of lace, doileys & ribbon, then further embellished with a ' Mother of pearl ' button, vintage lace doiley, beads & a heavy cotton lace motif. This 'One of a kind' collectable cloth doll is approx 42 cm tall & weighted to stand alone. She is dressed in beautiful 100% cotton fabric. Her dress is patterned with birds, leaves & flowers, and trimed with vintage lace. Nature Lover has stitched features and painted hair. Her wings are slightly padded and quilted to resemble leaf veins and she holds a wired & stuffed branch that I have tied resin coated collaged objects, gum nuts & leaves made from leather onto. The collaged resin tags contain a bird & flower image from fabric," from the Nature Lover's Notebook" is an apt snipit from a vintage book. The whole doll has been given an aged appearance which results in a lovely mellow look. She will come to you carefully packed for travel. Postage costs are extra & will be quoted. Introducing Bernie - a little rabbit and our first Softie. He is approx 38 cm from tip of ears to paw. He is made from red homespun cotton and features a retro spot belly patch and a soft doc flannel face that is lovely to touch.
